Building Findable Websites: Web Standards, SEO, and Beyond by Aarron Walter

This is a great book on building your website the right way. If you build it to meet web and accessibility standards then search engines will love it. All you need to work on is your content.

Write your content for humans first. Have relevant and attractive content to make your site worth finding. But always remember that if the site works for the visually impaired then it works for search engines.

The book also covers how to hold on to your audience with RSS, mailing lists and user generated content.

This well written book should be part an essential reference when building your websites.

Passing The Prince2 Foundation And Practitioner Exams

16. December 2008

I recently passed the Prince2 Foundation and Practitioner exams. I recommend getting the Passing the Prince2 Examinations book which contains sample exam papers. Very useful to test yourself before the actual exam. The Prince2 Pocketbook is handy for in the office when working on projects or for reference.

And if that's still too complex then the Prince2 For Dummies is a practical guide taking you through the ins and outs of the process and key procedures.

But the most important book is the Managing Successful Projects with Prince2. The Practitioner exam is based on the text in the book and this is the only book allowed during the exam.
